I know, this really has nothing to do with the automotive industry but Let me explain my thoughts. 1 Billion people actively using Facebook today, 1 Billion people. This is the size of 1/7th of our entire world. People in countries that don't have clean water have access to Farmville. The world is truly changing and it is amazing to see. A company that was created in a dorm room at Harvard University 10 years ago has done more than the invention of the printing press, the creation of religion and the invention of the telephone combined to connect people. We take Facebook for granted and complain about TimeLine and whatever other feature we can... but in reality Facebook will be remembered as one of the great inventions of the world.
Mark Zuckerberg is a personal hero in my eyes. After the Facebook IPO did not go to plan, he truly did not care. He is there to help Facebook grow, not financially but emotionally. He has created a company that will forever last.
